Sujay Talathi
Chief Operating Officer - India


Sujay Talathi is the Chief Operating Officer for Transparent Value Private Limited (Transparent Value Pvt. Ltd.) in Mumbai, India. Mr. Talathi oversees the day-to-day operations, including quality assurance, business administration and human resources.

Prior to joining Transparent Value, Mr. Talathi was with Advanced Investment Mechanics, where he was responsible for company research on AIM-listed U.K. companies. He prepared research papers analyzing the capital expenditure spending plans of top telecom companies worldwide. He was also an analyst at Aranca Mumbai Pvt. Ltd., where he was responsible for equity research and reporting on more than 50 U.S.-based companies and contributed to various research studies on international stock exchanges.

Sujay joined Transparent Value as a Senior Analyst after a fast-track through Transparent Value's Analyst Training Program. He soon became Team Leader, managing eight analysts and covering the oil and natural gas sector (drilling/exploration/services) and later responsible for training junior analysts on financial modeling. During this time, he also played an instrumental role in the set-up of the Mumbai office and was promoted to management in January 2007.

Sujay graduated from ICFAI Business School in Mumbai, among the top of his MBA-Finance class. He enjoys teaching mathematics and has acquired the CA Foundation. He is also certified by the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) and is completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
